My Seaglass Jewellery making workshops takes place at Found, 91a Preston Drove, Brighton BN1 6LD, a charming and creative space nestled in the heart of Preston Park, Brighton. Just a short walk from the park itself, this welcoming venue is easily accessible by public transport and car.

If you're driving, parking is available in Zone J with pay-and-display options via the Pay by Phone app. With its relaxed atmosphere and coastal inspiration, it's the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the craft of handmade sea glass jewellery.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You’ll create your own bespoke ring or pendant in sterling silver featuring a beautiful piece sea glass. You'll learn how to craft the band and back plate, size and shape the bezel, solder all elements together, and last but not least, set your sea glass.

  • Yes! Your sea glass should be:

    • Between 0.8cm – 1.5cm for a ring and up to 2.5cm for a pendant.

    • it needs to be no deeper than 5mm and well sea rounded

    • A flat base with little wobble to ensure a stable setting

    If you're unsure, bring a few options, and I’ll help you choose the best piece!

  • No prior experience is needed. The workshop is suitable for beginners and jewellery lovers alike. However, you’ll need good dexterity and finger strength to work with the tools. If you need assistance with any steps, just let me know in advance.

  • All materials, tools, and tuition are included in the price. Just bring yourself (and your sea glass if you have any!)

  • Bookings are non-refundable, but if you can’t make it and give me over 72 hours notice, I’ll do our best to reschedule your session. Workshops run roughly monthly, so there’s flexibility to join another date where possible.
